Business ideas and planning cases

Choose an operating format, then follow its costs, capacity, cash flow and financing.

Each business has five connected guides: an overview, startup costs, profitability, unit economics and financing. The coffee shop and self-service wash also include full business-plan examples. Additional plan examples will follow in a later release.

The cases cover leased premises or small mobile-service operations. They supply a transparent starting calculation and an evidence checklist. They are not acquisition valuations, local feasibility studies or lending decisions.

Keep the scope attached to the number

Each US case specifies a format, staffing plan and capacity constraint. No city is selected; the preschool case explicitly uses a California regulatory scope. Observed wage benchmarks and equipment references are distinguished from budget allowances. Comparing totals alone does not establish the better investment: site condition, local demand, owner experience and financing change the result.
